The Kuwait Styrene Company ("TKSC") is the first Kuwait-based styrene monomer (SM) producer and exporter established in 2004 as an international joint venture between the Kuwait Aromatics Company (KARO) and the Dow Chemical Company (Dow).
The Kuwait Styrene Company owns manufacturing facilities with a nameplate capacity of 450 KMT and demonstrated production capacity of 524 KMT and produces high-quality Styrene Monomer.
A clear, colorless to yellow, oily liquid, with a sweet odor at low concentrations. Styrene Monomer is a basic building block of the plastics industry. It’s used to make plastics, paints, synthetic rubbers, protective coatings and resins.
